“In our love, lives will be born … in our love they will drink water.” – Pablo Neruda

I am a now a daddy. Not just any daddy, but the daddy of the most beautiful baby every seen. We had a wonderful birth and the story is one you’ll enjoy and later tonight I’ll try to write it out. The Pussycat did so well during labor. To me she always been one of the strongest women I’ve ever known and today she proved it again. I wish I could think of something humorous to post here as I usually do. Even if I was in the frame of mind to write something funny, I would not be able to post it. The only thing that my brain is able to communicate is how proud I am of Pussycat and how much I love this child. There is nothing quite like seeing your child draw their first breath of air or hear their first mewing when you pick them up and hold them. No one ever warned me you could spend hours just watching your child sleep in your arms.

Everything about Juliet is perfect. The nurses in the nursery told us that “there are pretty babies and then there are pretty babies. Your baby is truly a pretty baby if not one of the prettiest we’ve ever seen.”

Truer words have never been spoken.
