About Daddy
My name is The Owl and I spend most of my time teaching my baby (aka The Kitten) how to blow raspberries at every new person she meets.
The easiest way to describe myself is by just listing all the salient points:
- I am 35 years old.
- I am married to the love of my life … the wonderful, and stunningly beautiful Pussycat.
- I have a wonderful daughter who scrunches her nose in glee whenever I walk in the room.
- I live in Oklahoma.
- I take pictures. Many, many pictures.
- I hate listing things about myself.
I started this blog mostly because I’m an inveterate commentator on life and I decided it would be fun to take the voices in my head and put them on paper. The other reason is that I am proud of my daughter and simply cannot resist showing her off to the world. This blog is actually an offshoot of another blog I had for several years. This year I decided to import it, delete almost everything that wasn’t related to the Kitten and rebrand it. Having said that, please know the Kitten is not the only person or thing I write about. You will find stories about our baby, our family, our work, the food we eat, our politics and life in general. Also, there will be pictures. Many, many pictures.

However, if you write something snarky, please know I reserve the right to publish it in it’s entirety. While I understand that you may disagree about certain posts and/or the portrayal of certain occurences and/or people written about here, if you don’t like it, get your own blog. 99% of the things written on this blog are meant to be taken as a joke. So, laugh a little and see how you feel afterwards.
